Portland Ballet presents a Very Nutty Nutcracker — a Victorian Nutcracker like you’ve never seen before! Portland Ballet’s professional company turns the classic story of the Nutcracker on its head as the beloved characters embrace the funny side of ballet. From the Party Scene to the Kingdom of the Sweets – Victorian Nutcracker fans are in for a treat as they witness comedy and laughter infused in every scene! This comedic take on the classic story you know and love is not to be missed for those looking for fun-filled festivities this Holiday season. Please note this is an abbreviated, comedic version of the Nutcracker story. Run time is 1 hour plus a 15-minute intermission.
