The Iris Piano Trio brings an innovative program blending classical music and collaborative storytelling of intergenerational voices. You will hear the sounds of Shostakovich and Copland blending with the romanticism of Mendelssohn. A newly commissioned multi media piece written by composer Ruby Fulton, weaves narratives with music of American Pop.
The Iris Piano Trio is the core ensemble of Iris Music Project, representing the organization on stages across the Mid-Atlantic. Iris Music Project reimagines retirement communities as spaces of creative exchange.
