Gary Wittner and Aaron Henry—both on OSOM’s jazz faculty, and both appearing in the Faculty Jazz Ensemble concert later this season—step outside that context here. Time Zones, their trio with percussionist Eric LaPerna, moves through Balkan, Brazilian, Turkish, and Greek traditions, original compositions, Thelonious Monk, and the Beatles.
