Lecture, Demonstration, and Performance
This educational program for ages 4-10 mixes dancing with demonstration to illuminate all that goes into a performing arts production! Illustrated through the story of ‘Coppélia’, audiences will follow the adventures of Swanhilda and how she and her friends outsmart the town’s eclectic toy maker. Presented by Artistic Director Nell Shipman and the dancers of Portland School of Ballet, Building Ballets walks audience members through the intriguing processes of creating a ballet production.
Run Time: Approximately 45 minutes, with no intermission.
Adult, Senior 65+, Student, and Child (12 & under) prices are available online for this event.
Ticket prices include a per ticket service fee, varying from $2 – $3 depending on ticket price.
