MSA is a welcoming community arts center in the heart of Portland’s Kennedy Park neighborhood: the most densely populated, ethnically and culturally diverse square mile in Maine. The building serves as a performance venue, gallery, and gathering space, with affordable studios and rehearsal space for artists.

From I-295 Southbound:

  • Take Exit 8 towards Washington Ave
  • Continue straight onto Washington Ave
  • Turn right onto Cumberland Ave
  • Turn right onto Mayo St
  • MSA will be two doors down on the left

From I-295 Northbound:

  • Take Exit 7 towards Franklin Arterial
  • Continue straight onto Franklin Arterial
  • Turn left onto Cumberland Ave
  • Turn left onto Mayo St
  • MSA will be two doors down on the left

Parking:

Free on-street parking is available in Mayo Street Arts’ neighborhood. There are two accessible spots directly in front of our building, however there is not yet a curb cut out at that location.

There is one paid parking lot conveniently located a six-minute walk from the venue: Top of the Old Port Parking (119 Pearl St, Portland ME 04101)
