All performances and most other events held at Mayo Street Arts are wheelchair accessible.

Please Note:  Access to the balcony in MSA’s historic building is via a steep staircase and is not wheelchair accessible. Accessible seating is available in GA or Preferred seating.

Accessible seating for patrons with disabilities may be purchased in person at the PortTIX box office, by calling PortTIX at (207) 842-0800, or on our website. In person and telephone sales are available during normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 11am–3pm). Please inform your ticket agent of your needs at the time of purchase. 

To purchase wheelchair accessible tickets online, simply select the “Wheelchair Accessible” zone option when purchasing tickets, and indicate the number of patrons attending in wheelchair using the “Patron in wheelchair” ticket type. 

When possible, MSA asks that you let us know in advance so that we can be prepared to assist as needed.

The main hall bathroom where most events occur at MSA is wheelchair accessible.

There are two accessible parking spots directly in front of our building, however there is not yet a curb cut out at that location.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to each event at MSA.

Most events at MSA are family friendly and labeled “All Ages.”

Select events are labelled with “Suggested” age ranges to offer guidance to parents/guardians.

Age ranges will be enforced at events labelled “Restricted.”

We ask that no outside food or drink other than water is brought into the main hall.

Use of photography is permitted and encouraged.

We ask that you silence all phones and electronic devices before the performance.

No weapons of any kind are allowed into the building.

Mayo Street Arts recognizes that many of our community members continue to live in a palpable danger of detention and deportation. Law enforcement personnel are not permitted to enter public areas at MSA without a signed judicial warrant.
