Brahms Horn Trio

FEATURING:

Leave the everyday behind and step Into the Woods—where the sounds of nature, memory, romance, and imagination come alive. Brahms’s Horn Trio leads the way, its warm horn lines conjuring distant calls across the landscape and its sweeping melodies bringing us back home. Amy Beach’s Romance offers a moment of luminous tenderness, while Koechlin’s Four Short Pieces invites us deeper into an atmospheric, almost dreamlike forest of sound.
Featuring Kate Pritchett, french horn, this is a program about getting a little lost, but discovering something beautiful along the way.
