Enjoy an evening of wit, charm, and virtuosic Baroque music with the Bach Virtuosi Festival at the University of Southern Maine’s Crewe Center for the Arts.
Featuring Bach’s “Coffee Cantata” (Good to the Last Note) and sparkling instrumental works by George Frideric Handel, Domenico Scarlatti, and Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #3. The evening culminates in a staged performance of Bach’s jovial “Coffee Cantata” led by stage director Annette Jolles, recipient of 22 Emmy Awards. This engaging program blends humor, storytelling, and dazzling musicianship for a concert experience as rich and satisfying as your favorite blend of coffee.
