This show explores the life of Phineas Gage who has been sensationalized through various competing narratives and simplifications following a bizarre accident while working on the railroad. The loss of a piece of Gage’s frontal cortex was a hot topic in the field of phrenology, and thrust him into unbidden fame.

Medea: When Medea discovers her husband’s plans of leaving her for another woman, she is faced with an impossible choice. This Ancient Greek classic by Euripides is brought to life with staging that asks where the blame really belongs in a story so deeply entrenched in the theatre zeitgeist.
