The wheelchair accessible entrance is located at the back of the building by the handicap parking in Freshman Alley (accessed from Chestnut Street, directly behind Portland High School). To enter from the rear entrance, use the buzzer to have the door unlocked, then take the elevator up to the lobby level.

Accessible seating for patrons with disabilities may be purchased in person at the PortTIX box office, by calling PortTIX at (207) 842-0800, or on our website. In person and telephone sales are available during normal business hours (Mon-Fri, 11am–3pm). Please inform your ticket agent of your needs at the time of purchase. All of our ticket agents are very familiar with the hall and can assist in finding the best seating.

To purchase wheelchair accessible tickets online, simply select the “Wheelchair Accessible” zone option when purchasing tickets, and indicate the number of patrons attending in wheelchair using the “Patron in wheelchair” ticket type.

For most performances, seating begins thirty minutes before the scheduled performance time. The lobby and box office will open sixty minutes before the performance time.

No concessions are served at this venue. Outside food and drink, INCLUDING WATER, are prohibited in the theater due to historic preservation, but may be enjoyed in the lobby.

All photo and video recording is prohibited unless otherwise stated. We ask that you silence all phones and electronic devices before the performance.

Weapons, firearms and other dangerous items are not permitted.

There is a handicap accessible bathroom located in the lobby near the elevator.

There are dedicated handicap parking spots behind the building in Freshman Alley (accessed from Chestnut Street, directly behind Portland High School).
