YES&Co. is a Portland-based long-form improv troupe that turns real stories into completely unscripted scenes. Founded in 2019 in a Free Street basement (as many good ideas are), the group invites local people of interest to share true, personal stories – then uses those stories as fuel for bold, funny, and occaisionally unhinged improv. No scripts. No safety net. No two shows are ever the same. Yes&Co. thrives on big emotional swings, playful risk-taking, and finding the funny in the deeply human. Come for the stories. Stay for whatever happens next.

The Maine Improv Studio (MIST) is a long-form improv school located in the heart of downtown Portland. Currently holding classes at the Portland Media Center, MIST draws from a wide range of improv philosophies to teach the power of saying yes, supporting one another, and taking creative risks in a welcoming, supportive environment. Improv is our favorite thing – and we’re thrilled to share it with you.
