Join the Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Robert Lehmann for an evening of sweeping soundscapes. Anchoring the program is Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, a radiant and joyful work inspired by the natural beauty of the Bohemian countryside. Brimming with folk rhythms, lyrical themes, and orchestral color, this beloved symphony celebrates Dvořák’s gift for melody and storytelling through music.
Additional works will round out the program.
Run Time: Approximately 90 minutes, with an intermission.
