On June 28, 2025 our annual charity softball game will be played at the ballpark in Old Orchard Beach Maine.

Maine Operation Game Thief in partnership with the West Virginia Natural Resources Police Officers Association and International Wildlife Crimestoppers will be the recipients of all proceeds from the game.

The funds raised will pay for confidential and anonymous tips for illegal poaching, youth lifetime hunting & fishing licenses, sponsor youth hunting & fishing events, and much needed equipment put in the field for game wardens to be safer and more efficient. This year’s Northwoods Throwdown will feature Maine Game Wardens vs West Virginia game wardens, the game will also be livestreamed and our tee shirts are available online now and can be shipped to your home prior to the game.
