Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Steve Grover’s Masterpiece Piano Trio “Breath”
Three trios, all which have been, in one way or another, impacted by Steve Grover’s influence on contemporary jazz currents in Maine’s cultural landscape. Trio members range in age from 13 year old Tessa Irons to 40-somethings R.J. Miller and Adam Chilenski.
“Breath” represents Steve Grover at his creative zenith. He embraced “the risk of beauty”, “Breath” is an enduring result of that risk taken!
Portland Conservatory of Music and Dimensions in Jazz are proud to present our re-visitation of this amazing music to new audiences.
