Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and want to make sure you know exactly how we handle customer information. By accessing the PortTIX website or purchasing a ticket you give your permission for PortTIX to contact you. When you buy a ticket to an event you also consent to PortTIX and our owner organizations sharing your information with the organization involved in presenting the event.
Would you like to specify how you wish to receive information or simply don’t want to be contacted? You can edit your personal options through your online account or contact us directly. Keep in mind that it may take a little bit of time to process updates regarding mailings. If you join our monthly email list you can unsubscribe at any time.
We don’t share your information with outside parties. We also don’t waste your time sending spam – we only contact you if we have information that may be useful to you. If any changes are made to our privacy policy, we’ll post the updates right here.
Refunds and Cancellations
As is the case with many theaters, all sales are final, so PortTIX is unable to offer refunds or exchanges on most ticket purchases. Some events offer limited exchange options, please contact us to inquire about exchange options for your particular performance. If you cannot use your ticket, you may choose to donate it to a local charity, or find a friend or family member to attend in your place.
Ticket Limits
We ask all customers to adhere to published ticket limits. Persons who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders cancelled without notice by PortTIX, LLC. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information. The use of automated ticket purchasing processors to access this web site is prohibited.
Tickets sold by PortTIX belong to the promoting organization and typically represent only a portion of the total venue seating capacity. The decision as to which tickets are made available for public sale is made by the promoting organization.
Terms of Use
All access and use of PortTIX.com is subject to the following terms and conditions:
i. All content, design and image are the copyright of PortTIX, LLC. Reproduction of part or all of the content without express written consent is prohibited.
ii. All information provided on this website is correct at the time of submission. PortTIX, LLC reserves the right to make changes to the website at any time without notice.
iii. While all reasonable attempts will be made to contact ticket holders regarding changes to an event, it is the ticket holder’s responsibility to check times and dates prior to an event.
iv. PortTIX, LLC is not liable for computer or network related issues resulting from the use of this site.
Ticket Resale policy
Tickets may not be resold for higher than face value. PortTIX reserves the right to cancel tickets if we have reason to believe that tickets will be resold on a 3rd party site. We ask all customers to adhere to published ticket limits. Persons who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders cancelled without notice.
PortTIX cannot take responsibility for the validity of tickets purchased from unauthorized agents or other sources. If you do not receive a valid ticket with a barcode and seating information from a 3rd party site, we unfortunately cannot guarantee admission to the event.
We believe that customers shouldn’t have to pay a marked up price for tickets. If we suspect that an order has been re-sold, we may hold tickets at the Box Office for collection on the night of performance. In these circumstances, the ticket buyer will be required to produce the credit/debit card used for the original transaction and/or a valid form of photo ID to pick up their tickets on the night of the show.
Please know that we are working hard to combat resellers, including adding additional security such as captchas. So you may need to occasionally check a box on our website to prove you aren’t a reseller bot!
Resellers have a huge industry and lots of money to spend on deceiving ad campaigns. Therefore, we need your help to spread the word that 3rd party resale sites are not legit and make it harder for true fans to get tickets. A word to a friend or a quick post on social media can do a lot of good. Thanks for helping making sure that true fans get access to the shows they want to see!
