About
PCMF
PCMF connects, inspires, and celebrates community through the uniquely intimate power of chamber music.
The intimacy of chamber music allows walls to be broken down, connections to be made, and experiences to be shared between artist and audience, and among listeners. All of PCMF’s programs are thoughtfully designed to support and enhance these unique attributes.
Founded in 1994, PCMF’s core summer Festival consists of four main stage concerts, special events, artist showcases, stage talks, composer interviews and more. Additional programs year-round have included a collaborative series with contemporary art/performance venue SPACE Gallery, a partnership with Heifetz on Tour, and a Salon Series of concerts in private homes, restaurants, and other informal spaces.
All PCMF’s programs feature world-renowned musicians and celebrate chamber music as it was meant to be experienced: in intimate venues, with a welcoming, family feel. In addition to hearing live performances with some of the finest chamber musicians in the world, music-lovers of all ages mingle with these artists in informal settings, and share musical insights, personal connections, and the power of truly extraordinary artistic experiences.
